The Library Museum of the University of Sonora is one of the most important works of modern architecture in the Northwest of Mexico.
In the year of 1957 it opened its doors to the public. At that time, the city of Hermosillo was in a process of growth of streets and other urban and architectural spaces as well as in the strengthening of its culture.

En el año de 1957 abrió sus puertas al público. En esa época, la ciudad de Hermosillo se hallaba en un proceso de crecimiento de calles y demás espacios urbanos y arquitectónicos así como en el fortalecimiento de su cultura.
